We Deserve a Fully Functional NLRB

The U.S. Senate must confirm five bipartisan National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) members before they leave on their month-long August vacation.
The NLRB is the only agency that enforces workplace rights for more than 80 million workers employed in the private sector. But Mitch McConnell and Senate Republicans are blocking these bipartisan nominations because there is no functioning version of the NLRB that they approve of.
Senate Democrats can’t let this to happen. Majority Leader Harry Reid has indicated that he will bring the full package of board members, along with other top cabinet nominees, to the Senate for a vote soon. If Republicans block these nominations, the rules of the Senate must be changed to stop this never-ending Republican obstructionism.
